Kano PIllars suffer a massive blow out against Club de African as they lost by 40 points in their first game in the 2016 FIBA Africa Champions Cup. The game ended 47 - 87.

The Tunisian side dominated the game from start to finish winning all four quarters. They shot well than the Pillars; shooting 59% 2-point field goal, 53% 3-point field goal and 69% free throw compared to Pillars' 34%, 13% and 43% respectively. 

Although Abubakar Usman finished with 16points, Dele Ademola was the top performer for Pillars with a +14 efficiency rate. Dele finished with 5 points, 6 rebounds and 1 assist. Kyle Vinales finished as top performer for Club Africain with 18points, 1 Rebound and 6 assists.


The other Group A game between host Al Ahly and Nzui Manto finished in favour of the host club 82 - 53. Pillars' next group game is on Saturday 10 December against Cameroon's Nzui Manto Basketball Club.
