Summarize

Kano Pillars' held on to their second quarter performance to secure their first victory at the continental championship against Cameroon's Nzui Manto. 

Pillars improved on their game 1 shooting performance to seal the game. They shot 52% with the arc, 36% outside and 59% from the free throw line compared to their opponent's 40%, 33% and 58% respectively. 

Four of the nine Pillars players who played the game had double digit points including additions - Stanley Gumut, Ejike Ugboaja and Romeo Wilfred. The four of had a combined 53 points with Abdul Yahaya finishing as top performer with 20pts, 6 rebs, 3 assists.

Etienne Kalume emerged top performer for Nzui Manto with 22pts, 5 rebounds and 3 assists 


In the other Group A game, Al Ahly won Angolan side - Premiero De Agosto 68 - 64 to top the group. Pillars' next group game is on Sunday 11 December against Premiero De Agosto.
