Many people stayed up very late, woke up very early just to watch DTigers play. Many people cheered loudly for them game after game, even when they did not get the much need wins. And we they did not advance to the next round, fans still appreciated them.
Basketball followership has increased in Nigeria and the DTigers` story - from Olympics qualifiers in 2012, Afrobasket in 2015 and 2016 Summer Olympics - has inspired lots of kids around Africa. Don`t stop working hard, don`t stop believing.
To the entire DTigers 2016 Olympics team, the coaching crew, media personnel and basketball fans in Nigeria, it has been a rather interesting Rio Olympics. The dream ends here.
