Less than 12hrs to the tip off of the 2017 season of the Premier Basketball League, the management of Kwara Falcons have released the official team list for the season.
From the list released, it seems the team`s stragegy this season is to focus on quality rather than quantity and only twelve players are registered to play this season. Six of the sixteen players from last season did not return including its most outstanding player Romeo Wilfred. The club replaced these players with other experienced players including big man Akeem Akinsanya from Union Bank Basketball Team (now Stallion Basketball) and former Oluyole Warriors and Lagos Islanders forward, Mojubaoluwa Oyeleye.

The team finished overall fourth last season and will look to consolidate on this effort this year. The team is scheduled to play their first game to against Customs today at the Indoor Sports Hall of the National Stadium Surulere.
