Summarize

Going into Game Day 6 of the Premier Basketball League, only two teams - Gombe Bulls and Defenders - were left in the league with unbeaten record this season. We knew only one of them will stay that way after the game between the two teams at the Indoor Sports Hall of the National Stadium Abuja when The Defenders hosted the Bulls. The Gombe Bull did.

Bulls dominated from tip off to buzzer, leading with 18 points at the end of the first two quarters. Shedrack Kator Gar and Yakuba Sylvanus combined for 26 points for the Bulls. The game ended 64 - 78.

In other Savannah Conference games, Bauchi Nets were no match against one time champions Mark Mentors as they suffered 32 point blow out in Abuja. The game ended 80 - 48. Kano Pillars played their first game of the week on Saturday after they walked over visiting team Plateau Peaks who arrived late to the arena. Pillars won their game against Niger Potters 83 - 63.
