Ekiti Angels` only chance of survival in the Zenith Bank Women`s Basketball League hinged on the result of their game with IGP Queens. Unfortunately, they couldn`t utiise the opportunity as they lost woefully to the Lagos based team yesterday 24 - 96. Victory in their last two games won`t be enough to get them to the next phase. They join Taraba Hurricanes whose relegation has also been confirmed.
First Bank and IGP Queens have now extended their winning streak to 9 and 8 games respectively.
