The team, who reclaimed their national title from Dolphins Basketball Team earlier this year, won all four group games against Togo's Etoile Filante and Niger's STT SC. They are the only Nigerian representative at the zonal qualifiers as Dolphins did not participate. First Bank and Etoile Filante will represent Zone 3 at the Continental Championship in Mozambique.
