Summarize

The annual Mark D` Ball Basketball Tournament which is the tournament that rounds up the basketball year will be held from  26th to 31st December at Akpegede, the ancestral home of the Nigerian Senator and founder of the Mark Sports Foundation - Senator David AB Mark.

At the press conference earlier today to announce this year`s activities, the CEO of the Foundation Igoche Mark promised that this year`s event will be much bigger at a safer and more exciting environment. Last year`s event was cancelled due to unforeseen and uncontrollable reasons. 

This year will feature both active and retired Nigerian and African basketball players, a children`s basketball clinic with over 1,000 kids and in its usual fashion, the best musical acts from across the countries.  

"This year, we hope to accommodate up to 1,000 Children. The focus this year is on family therefore we have infused a number of new activities that promise to be fun for every member of the family. We would like to use this opportunity to express our heartfelt appreciation to all who stood by Us and have been there for us. Once more thank you for believing in us" - Igoche Mark
