As part of their preparations for their debut at the Basketball African League, Kwara Falcons will participate in a four-team basketball tournament in Abidjan, Cote D`Ivoire.

The Orange Ball International Tournament will feature four teams from four different countries including Kwara Falcons (Nigeria), Abidjan Basketball Club (Cote D`Ivoire), Stade Malien (Mali) and Kadji Sports Academy (Cameroon). 

The event which will hold from 27 February to 3 March at the Palais des Sports, Abidjan is a good platform for the BAL teams to warm up ahead of the group stage of the continental league. Abidjan BC, Falcons, and Stade Malien (Mali) are all grouped together in the Sahara Conference of the BAL.

The Nigerian champions are expected to fly out of Nigeria on Thursday 23 February, and continue their camp in Abidjan before heading to Dakar for the Safara Conference games tipping off on Saturday 11 March.
