The International Basketball Federation (FIBA) has kicked off its first photography competition tagged `The Biennale House of Basketball Photo Contest. The contest requires basketball players to submit one to three of their best action photos. The chosen themes of the contest are humanitarian, social or education and their link to basketball. The submitted photos must represent either of these themes.
A jury will choose the thirty best photos amongst all submissions and the choose thirty be exhibited in the House of Basketball at the FIBA Headquarters. Prize will be awarded to the ten best photographs as well as the most popular photograph as follows:
1st Prize: 5’000 CHF (N1,000,000)
2nd Prize: 2’000 CHF (N600,000)
3rd Prize: a TISSOT watch with a value of 1’000 CHF (N300,000)
4th to 10th Prize: 150 CHF (N45,000)
Public Prize: The most popular photo according to the votes will be reward by a special prize.
