The management of the Savannah Conference Team, Gombe Bulls earlier today released the team list ahead of the 2017 season of the Premier Basketball League.
The players are;
1 - Yakubu Sylvanus (Captain) - Guard
2 - Chibuozo Njoko - Forward
3 - Mohammed Fofana- Centre
4 - John Mathias - Forward
5 - Timothy Kwaor - Guard
6- Ajodoh Victor Dennis - Forward
7- Nasiru Mohammed - Guard
8- Gar Kator Shedrack - Guard
9- Agu Ibe Abuchi – Guard
10- Dahiru Ahmed – Centre
11- Suleiman Adamu – Guard
12- Adamu Ibrahim Abubakar - Guard
13 – Onyeka Okeke – Centre (from Anambra Flames)
14 – Simon Owoicho – Guard – (from Lagos Warriors)
15 – Akeem Sulaiman – Guard – (from Kano Pillars)
16 – Abdulwahab Yakubu – Guard- (from Kano Pillars)
The four new players added from Anambra Flames, Lagos Warriors and Kano Pillars will replace Ehison Dauda Udoje, Samson John, Eli Abraham and Austine Ese.
It the last two DSTV PBL seasons, Gombe Bulls made it to the Final Eight Playoffs. They lost the semi final game to Kano Pillars in 2015 but could not advance to the semi finals in 2016 having lost two of their three layoff games.
